Tactical Tailor Fight Light Plate Carrier
The Tactical Tailor Fightlight plate carrier is a lightweight, durable, and user friendly armor carrying system. Made out of 500D nylon, the carrier lives up to its namesake, giving the end user only what they need, and then some, while keeping a light, low profile armor system; offering a full range of movement with minimal bulk.
Comparison to LBT 6094B:
LBT 6094B
The 6094B is combat tested system that has been used by many special operation groups. It is a light weight kit that has a lot of after market additions available. Due to it's popularity, we are using this as a comparison for the Tactical Tailor Fight Light Plate Carrier.
Overall weight of the Tactical Tailor Fight Light Plate Carrier is noticeably lighter than the 6094B. The cut of the Tactical Tailor Fight Light Plate Carrier is exactly the size of the SAPI plates unlike the 6094B that has some extra material around the plate. This allows the operator to be able to tuck in his weapon tighter to his pocket of his shoulder. As a result of this the Tactical Tailor Fight Light Plate Carrier is smaller sporting six rows of MOLLE across, in comparison the 6094B has eight rows on MOLLE across it. We found that this is not really a problem when mounting three magazine shingle on it. The 6094B has two extra MOLLE loops that can't really be used except putting a carabiner, chemlight, CAT, or other accessorizes.
Even with the loss of MOLLE on the front of the plate carrier the Tactical Tailor Fight Light Plate Carrier makes up for it with it's side straps. The whole strap is covered with MOLLE, seven MOLLE wide and two high. The 6094B normally comes with standard velcro MOLLE cummerbund (this user has upgraded to a SKD PIG elastic cummerbund in the photo). The Tactical Tailor Fight Light Plate Carrier also comes with side SAPI pouches that are easily added on to the system

The side SAPI pouches are also very streamlined and hardly noticed when inserted. They also give the operator more MOLLE to mount larger pouches such as IFAKs and SAW pouches. They can also be used as pouches if side SAPIs are not being used. They can fit smaller items like VS17 panels, medical supplies, and other small items.
The area where the Tactical Tailor Fight Light Plate Carrier shines is the airflow pads on the internals of the carrier.

The pads pushes the plates off the operator very slightly allowing airflow in-between the plate carrier and body. The pads are also very soft and a pleasure to finally have a something that is not just nylon like a 6094B.
Moving around in the Tactical Tailor Fight Light Plate Carrier surprisingly easy. With many ways to adjust the Tactical Tailor Fight Light Plate Carrier it will contour to the operators body. There is velco adjustments on both sides and the shoulders. The back is also held in place by MALICE clips.

The Tactical Tailor Fight Light Plate Carrier has a front pocket. It fits a magazine perfectly. This way the operator can have all his magazine pouches filled and still have a magazine for his weapon.

Over all the Tactical Tailor Fight Light Plate Carrier is a more streamlined, lighter, and more adjustable version of the 6094B. With the Tactical Tailor Flightlight Plate Carier's retail price of $335.00 and the LBT 6094B is $426.89, it is more affordable alternative.
